We recieve a lot of emails from kids who are HUGE Jonas Brothers fans, but this one stands out. This email comes from Mary, who is 13, and is complaining about how it is unfair that our Jonas Brothers Video Contest will not allow kids under 14 in it (to clarify there is actually a law that doesn't allow them and all this is explained in the contest rules). So she thinks we should change the rules to the contest so she can participate and hopefully win backstage passes.

Iʼm only 13 yearz old. I love the Jonas Bros more than you no. Its is soe unfare that you gotta be 14 to meet them at Nfest.Rulez are stupider than anything cuz everybody nos that jonas bros fans arent old people but w e are kids who respect and luv what they bring to the world. All dees girls are having there dads and other people who are old make vidseos but its not fare cuz they arent the fans I am and my friends we are. You should change the contest rulez because I deserve to meet them as more than anybody else. My mom sais that I should start a petiton and get peeeple to sign for me and all the other REEL fans of the Jonas brso. Whats 1079 fraid of? Are 13 year olds dangerous more than 14 year olds? I donʼt t think so. Isnot like I gonna murder nick or joe. Let me goe backstage and meet them Do a survey and youll see that me bein t13 isnot a problem to anyone more than it is a problem for the peeps of 1079. Nfest is wear my dreams will come true if you donʼt make me a problem by causing me to not win cuz I am to young whatever. All my friends agreed me with me says Jodi that I am the biggest fan so you see? I should win. Change the rules. 13 year olds me and others like me demand it before its way too late to make no difference to fans who want some backstage passes to win with the Jonas bros from our favorite station 1079 the Nd.
PS tell Doug Lazy and Kris K to give shoutouts to the Jonas bros cuz I listen 247/7.
We understand that she is still just a kid, so when we first recieved this email Gavin (of all people) wrote her a nice, polite email explaining the contest.

Read the rules.. You don't have to be 14 to meet The Jonas Brothers. But you do have to be 14 to appear in the video for the contest. Sorry. That's not our rule...that's federal law. So if you still want to enter, have your parents appear in a video for you. Better hurry though because the deadline is Friday.
But then she replied and was a little rude, saying just "whatevers!".
So this is when we decided to talk about it on the air (as you may or may not have heard). And apparently Mary's friend heard us talking about Mary and told her about. So Mary wrote us another email.

Is its true that yous talked bout me on the radiyo? My freind Jodi and me we talked about what she heard and she said she heard that you spoke crap on me that wasnt nice or at all. Im not tring to pick a fight at all I ujst want fare to be fare you know? 13 yearz old Jonas bros fans are everywhere plus many 12 11 10 9 and baby kids to. They are all of them I mean are good roll models for kids my age and our ages if talking about all of there fans as a big jonas group. There is no reason and I mean no reason at all to excluse people cuz there age is too low or they are too young whatever its is that the stupid rules say they are laying out for us to try and follow to win. Dont matter at all becuz I cant win no matter what anyways. Jonas bros are too good for 1079 the N. Oh and my mom thinks you were very much rude for being mean and rude about my email cuz I am just a fan and you should be nice to fans f the Jonas bros cuz without them you dont have a radio station to listen to music on.So be mean whatever no big deal im am only 13 and i no just how much i mean to yous all and that is nothing at all cuz I am a kid and kids are nothing right? Yeh I know we are cuz you think stupid. Now whos is stupid? Wake up call is dumb anyway. And thats it on that thansk for reading anyway I gota go listen to Jonas bros!!!!!!!!!!!!!! peice! ^^
