When they were originally supposed to interview Joey McIntyre, Gavin wanted to ask him a bunch of "rude" questions, so Jason and Kelly tricked him so he would be out of the studio when they did the interview. Gavin wasn't to happy that he didn't get to ask Joey his "real" questions, so he got a hold of Joey's people and did his own interview.

I am listening to Gavin's interview on your website. I'm from Reno, NV, and was hoping they'd come to Sacramento, because I would be able to make it to a concert there. I think Reno isn't big enough.
Having said that, I'd prefer they didn't come to your town at all. Not if they'd have to deal with immature brats like Gavin. I've never heard such a blatantly mean and nasty "fake" interview ever. Whatever this Gavin guy's problem is, he needs to get over it. I don't know if he was dumped by a girl who preferred posters of Joey McIntire over dealing with Gavin or what his problem is. Frankly, he makes your entire station look bad. Congratulations on hiring someone like him. It really speaks volumes about the station.
I guess people have to act mean and nasty when they have a face for radio.

Yeah, Gavin's Drop Off Point was the moment I heard his annoying, childish, voice at the start of the Joe McIntyre FAKEview! You know, being a hater cause you'll never be even an 1/8 as talented as Joe is a terrible thing. Wanting to be Joe is understandable, I guess, if you're a man, but then, Gavin isn't a real man. He's an immature, little boy, hiding behind a mic.Gavin, grow up and get over it! Joe McIntyre is not only talented, but HOT and since you're neither of those, it might do you well to work on your personality a little.

I just wanna say THANK YOU for leaving Gavin out of this interview because as you should know by now, if anyone, ANYONE disrespects NKOTB, their fans are going to raise HELL! I would not be able to handle Gavin being rude to Joe because he certainly does not deserve that. When some MTV idiots pulled this stunt, some of us contacted Viacom and reported them. I remember when Joe performed at your Endfest in 1999. I attended just to see him so THANK YOU for having him there. Hopefully this time around, you'll be able to get the whole gang out there.

I am so sorry about all the crap you are being given right now by New Kids fans...and I'm a fan myself. I too am a "Blockhead"...but I am SO EMBARRASSED by the way some of these girls are acting and how they are treating you over the fake interview with Joe, that is AN OBVIOUS JOKE...just a joke Losers, get over yourselves!

Please, please do not think all NKOTB fans are psycho and have no senses of humor. We're not all like that, honest! Some of us are actually pretty cool and enjoy all types of music, genres and all types of comedy, sarcasm and wit. It's the insecure, over-weight, multiple house cat owning, pathetic fan girls who give the rest of us a bad name.

Hey! I read about this interview on the NKOTB message boards. I was told to listen and give you hell over it. Being that I was and am still an NKOTB fan with Joe being my fave for all of these years, I was ready to listen and be pissed...
I am in Florida and pulled up the link. I listened and couldn't stop laughing!! If people are "letting you have it" they need to relax and give props when stuff is funny, and that was some funny stuff! I love me some NKOTB, and love me some Joey...but this audio was fricken beyond funny!!
To those who took offense...GET A LIFE!! To Gavin, I will probably never get to listen to you again...but if all your stuff is this funny I am sorry that I am going to miss out!!

I was bloody shocked when Gavin did that fake interview with New Kids On The Block's Joey McIntyre. It was 100% bloody wrong and it's also 100% against the bloody law to do it. I was offended by it as a Civil Rights Activist for "Southern Proverty Law Center" and as a 100% True Gay Male Fan of "New Kids On The Block". What Gavin did was bloody wrong and he deserves to be fired for offending all of us 100% true male and female fans of "New Kids On The Block" from around the world and he also deserves to be fired for fraud as well. And for that, he deserves to be sued by "New Kids On The Block" and the fans of "New Kids On The Block".

Hey, just wanted to let you know what I thought of the interview. Got to be honest, I am a DEVOTED New Kids fans, and I thought it was pretty funny - at first!!!!!! OK, so you don't like the New Kids and that's OK - not everyone is going to like them. And I know the interview was joke - that's OK too. But I think you went too far with the baby joke. Its one thing to take the piss out of Joe and the New Kids - its quite another to bring their families into it - especially a baby. That's just wrong dude and bang out of order.
