A special message from the Wake Up Call

The past 12 months have been crazy for us!  The three of us started 2007 in Pennsylvania.  We were dealing with snow and ice that made simple activities, like walking, dangerous! 

Things changed when we got a phone call asking us if we'd be interested in coming to work in Sacramento.  There was a lot of discussion between the three of us.  Actually, the discussion involved more than the three of us that you hear on the radio.  On the air, you hear myself, along with Kelly and Gavin.  Behind the scenes, there is my wife Marisa (and our dog Maizee).  Kelly has her husband Brandon (and their dog Laguna).  Gavin has his girlfriend Stacy (and their two cats, Annie and Holden). 

When we decided, as a group, to accept the job at 107.9 the End, we were walking away from a stable job, family, friends, and a group of listeners that we weren't sure we would ever be able to replace. 

On May 7th, 2007, our new show, "The Wake Up Call," took to the air here on 107.9 the End. 

One year later we couldn't be happier that we made the move!  Not only do we love coming to work every single morning, but we have been blessed with GREAT listeners who help make our show what it is. 

As we hit our one year anniversary, "The Wake Up Call," wants to say two words to everybody who has listened to our show.  Whether you love us, hate us, or your opinions lie somewhere in between, to you, we say THANK YOU! 

Thank you for giving us a shot and for making our first year in Sacramento a year that we will NEVER forget!  We couldn't have lasted one year without you!
