Everyone is feeling the effects of the economy, and it is sure to have an effect on back to school shopping.  Which, we believe, will make kids whine that they won't be able to get the latest clothes and school accessories to show on the first day of school.

This reminds us of when we were kids and our parents didn't get us anything we wanted for back to school.  We maybe got one new t-shirt and a generic binder.  We didn't get the really cool Trapper Keeper or the new pair of shoes (Gavin once used white out to draw an "Air Jordan" on the back of his black Nikes). 

Remember all the cool stuff we weren't allowed to have from Lisa Frank and JanSport to Trapper Keeper and 5 Star?
