Commissioned sales position available for seasoned professional. Ideal candidate has two years or more experience in sales/marketing or related field and typically requires solid knowledge of the radio industry in order to effectively sell advertising.
Duties include: Developing marketing and advertising campaigns for local businesses. Phone and face-to-face cold calling throughout the station coverage area. Individuals must be detail oriented , strong at developing new business and selling station events. Must possess excellent time management, organizational skills, creativity and have a winning attitude.
You will be soliciting and developing new business by contacting potential new clients, preparing sales materials and appropriate sales presentations, responding to and solving customer problems through your creative ideas for new types of advertising in order to maximize profits.
Traits: Must be creative, highly motivated, persuasive, passionate about The End and have strong oral and written communication skills. Assertive, well-organized detailed oriented individual with the skills and talent needed to go into sales. College degree preferred but not required. Responsibilities include producing and maintaining sales materials and client commercial production.
Computer Knowledge: WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT.
